The Primary Reasons for A Large Memorial for those that died from North Carolina, but not forgotten.
- To honor those that died in line of duty in three conflicts that most Americans, including veterans that believed we should not have been involved in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan.
Tens of thousands of Americans spilled their blood on foreign soils all for our politician's self- interest.
Please help by signing the petition and vote for Mural labeled A, or Mural B.if you like the memorial.

- ·To, show honor and respect for the Soldiers from North Carolina and their families. To show all of North Carolina and the United States how much we care
.
- · To display a sacred memorial in the heart of the town of Littleton.
- · To display a unique Mural that not only gives respect to all the North Carolinian's that died for our country, but will reflect a positive image for the State of North Carolina, Halifax County, Roanoke Valley and the town of Littleton.
·
The Mural would be a bright spot in the heart of the little town of Littleton with a big heart. The mural would be a symbol of Littleton big heart. It would also serve as a tourist attraction for Littleton and Halifax County.
I made a mistake in trusting the politician that was upset with the project I had created for all the people, especially for Veterans of North Carolina that died for our country and their families and loved one. I should have remembered that this politician never did keep their word that they gave to me that they would help people in our community that were experiencing abuses of Government power.
Therefore, to gain support for this justified and needed memorial, I am asking for signatures from North Carolina Residence's that approve of the Design and location of this mural Project.
I know many of you heard of the national "Do not Call List," well they have one used by politicians and people in power that put them before the people they serve.
This Mural is not about personalities it is about the principles of respect and honor for those that died for America. The owner of Mama Mia's Pizza was asked if he would consider painting the building that had not been painted in decades (Unpainted: See Picture) to help the town of Littleton.
Without hesitation it was painted:.(see picture below)
I asked the owner if he would agree to a full mural on the south wall where all people driving South on 158 through the town of Littleton wound see for several minutes, and can be seen by anyone in the town of Littleton on Main Street from the Littleton United Methodist Church located at the top of the hill closes to the one traffic light in the town. The town of Littleton and Lake Gaston have many public events on the parking lot Mama Mia's. So, all people would look up and be moved by the Mural of Honor.
The owner agreed and only asked if he could have American Flag. So I designed an American Flag for him and all of us American's.
…American Flag of the Mural? B.
A view from Main Street of the Town of Littleton
This is the display that will be placed near the picture of the Honor Guards.
Tourist will be able to pick the Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan.
The Veterans that gave their lives from North Carolina will be in alphabetical order.
On the display above is Sgt. Thomas J. Butler IV. From North Carolina that gave his life in October 2012.
Note of Interest:
- The majority of truck drivers are veterans of WW II and all the other battlefields with thousands of our veterans blood spilled on foreign lands. since and until present day.
- Route 158 has been a main artery for trucks going North and South.(This is a view of the Mural when driving North on 158.
As you can see in the picture of the mural, I did include the American Flag and much more. I wanted you to know why I took this project to the people, for the people, and not for the politicians individually.
Remember: "We the People" not (I) the politician. If you like the mural and think it would benefit many people of North Carolina, please sign it and forward it to as many people as you can. A final note: I do not dislike any of the people that have chosen the darker path when the light is brighter and better. All three I anonymously mentioned are very capable people with many talents.
The Petition will be directed to the: Halifax County Arts Council, or North Carolina Art Council and any private funding that would like to support the Project: “We Honor our Veteran’s from the Great State of North Carolina that gave their lives for Our Country.”
Please find it in your hearts to sign in support this worthy project that will also help show the nation that the town of Littleton has a big heart. It will let our town be a little brighter and may help bring people to our community to see this original one of a kind Veteran Memorial Mural.
I thank you for your support as I know the families and loved ones that suffered losses in these Military conflicts would be very grateful for your support.
Halifax County Arts Council has done so much for residence of Halifax County and their communities. I believe if they hear your voices they will be very supportive of making this dream come true in the town of Littleton.
